Welcome to GeometryWeb

GeometryWeb is an interactive investigation of Geometry.  This Geometry site will allow you to explore a variety of Geometry topics with web-based support activities.  This is not a passive experience of pick and click, unit themes will be activated every three weeks, with subtopics posed each week.  Upon completion of the 12 GeometryWeb topics students will have a better understanding of Geometry topics and their applications.  Please take a few minutes to read through the guidelines of this course.  Students must agree to the guideline before participating in the course.  Then look at the topic list, to familiarize yourself with what will be covered in GeometryWeb.

• Each topic will be broken into three parts
• Week 1 Investigation (Definition and information)
• Week 2 Exploration (Manipulation and representation)
• Week 3 Assessment (Summary and evaluation)
• Each week students will visit websites to gain knowledge about a Geometric topic, the topic will then be assessed after a three week period.

• Students will be required to respond to prompts on http://geometryweb.wikispaces.com/.
• Student will be required to other students posting.
• Students will be required to complete an on line assessment component, this will vary by topic.
